The first step in making a skin is to find a suitable name and create a folder after it. As with all zoglair identifiers, a skin name must conform to node naming conventions. Additionally, if you intend to publish your skin, then it is a good idea to make sure that its name does not already exist. This will allow users to download and install it without problem.
