Designer Guide

This guide is about explaining zoglair's template mechanism and view related internals. Although the target audience is web designers interested in building theme related addons, it is also useful to anyone wanting to comprehend how styling works, in order to be able to customize the looks of a zoglair powered web site.

The information provided here is organized as following:

Everything is written in a logical sequence with progressive knowledge and is expected to be read in order. It is assumed, however, that you already have a working zoglair installation, and you are comfortable with at least HTML and CSS.

Although the template engine uses PHP, such knowledge is not required neither expected. All you need to know is some basic syntax and a few standard functions, things that will be sufficiently explained.
